Benares at the Putney Pop-up

For anyone yet to bag themselves a table at one of the biggest pop-up events of the year so far, there are still a few spaces left at Benares on Monday 8th March. For just £60 for three courses, diners can choose from a menu of tempting dishes such as Soft shell Crab, Lamb Rump with Chick Peas or Seabass with Coconut Stew.
Rebecca Mascarenhas at Kitchen W8 has organised an extraordinary pop-up restaurant at the Phoenix Bar & Grill in Putney all in support of Haiti. Throughout March, the likes of Atul Kochhar (Benares), Rick Stein (The Seafood Restaurant), Rowley Leigh (Le Café Anglais), Jesse Dunford Wood, Bruce Poole (Chez Bruce), Patrick Williams (Patrick's Kitchen), Philip Howard (The Square) and Helena Puolakka (Skylon) will take a turn, donating 90% of their profits to the cause.
