Rocket is part of a small pizza chain, but I can probably guarantee that you're not going to be eating when you step though the doors. You'll probably be more concerned with dancing and drinking. This is the sort of place where shots flow and laughter roars from door to door.
We arrived at just gone 9pm to find a live band, rocking the bar and groups of people singing raucously to some old classic tunes. The band finished it's set by half nine, after playing an energetic three hour set, by which point everyone was in the mood to carry on dancing. So they cranked up the music for all to sing along; a few crazy characters even had a dance off in the middle of the bar, I can't imagine who would do such a thing! (Not me, honestly)
There’s ample seating for a sit down and a chance to rest your tired feet at the end of the night. As an extra plus point the bar is set in a court yard, so there’s ample room to sit or stand outside if you feel the need to take in some fresh air and watch the antics indoors.

You can always retreat to the restaurant downstairs for some food if you need an escape from the noise and sample some homemade pizzas and fresh salads. Venture upstairs and scan the wine list, it has a great selection and is very reasonably priced.
Rocket is a unique venue in the city. It’s a great place to grab some nice Italian food then hit the dancefloor until the early hours of the morning.
Top Tip: Head down on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday to take advantage of the 2 4 1 cocktail offers.
